HOW TO: Join BTS Daum Fancafe (update as of 170504)

Hi guys! This post is to guide you in registration for DAUM account which is necessary for joining the BTS Fancafe(also other fancafes in general). This account is necessary to view notices posted inside the fancafe by BigHit staffs. It is also needed if you want to apply for official memberships.

A. For Joining with email address

Things you need:
- an active email address
- an active phone number
- internet connection

1. Open http://www.daum.net/

2.  Click on 회원가입

3. Click both checkboxes. The first one is for Terms of Service, the second one is for Personal Information Use Agreement. After checking both checkboxes, click on the blue button to continue

4. Enter your information.
First column: Daum ID. If it shows a green checkbox, it means you're good to go. Else, you have to find another ID which is not used yet.
Second column: enter your password. A minimum of 8 characters is needed (you don't need to mix numbers and alphabet).
Third column: reenter your password. It must be the same as the second column.
Fourth column: enter your name.
Fifth column: enter your mobile phone number. After entering your phone number, click on the blue button on the right side. The website should show you a pop up like this :

click on "OK". It will send a confirmation SMS to your phone with a verification code. Enter the verification code on the Sixth column. Then click on the blue button next to it. If verification succeeds, there will be a blue word next to it.

The final column is for you to enter your email address(this is optional).

5. Congratulations! You've set up your DAUM account!

6. Now open BTS' Fancafe at http://cafe.daum.net/BANGTAN

on the left panel, click on the button circled below.

It will open a page which contains Cafe User Agreement.

7. Enter the required information. Check on the first checkbox. 

The column below it will be automatically entered with you Daum Account's Name. You can change it if you want. 

The next two checkboxes are for mail subscription. I suggest to not check this if you don't want your email to be spammed. 

The next one is a captcha code. Enter the letters according to the image below it. Don't use caps, they will automatically convert it for you. If you do enter with caps, there will be a notice saying that your captcha is wrong.

Lastly, click on the LEFT button to apply, and voila! You've successfully entered BTS' official fancafe!

Note that you wouldn't be able to see member's post at this point, since you need to level up to level 2 account in order to see and post anything.
